About Sudoku
Sudoku is a placement puzzle, not a math test. Each digit from 1 to 9 appears once per row, once per column, and once per 3×3 box. GameZumoza generates boards in the browser with a backtracking filler, then removes clues by difficulty. The daily Sudoku uses a date seed so the same day always produces the same challenge. Given digits are locked. Your entries highlight conflicts so you can correct them without a lecture.
How to Play Sudoku
- Press Play and pick Easy, Medium, or Hard — or open the daily board from Daily Games.
- Select an empty cell.
- Enter a digit from 1 to 9. Given clues cannot be edited.
- A digit that breaks a row, column, or box is marked as a conflict.
- Fill every empty cell with no conflicts to complete the puzzle.

Tips for Playing Sudoku
- Scan a box for a digit that has only one legal cell.
- When a row already has several digits, the remaining candidates shrink fast.
- If you are stuck, look at a single digit across the whole board instead of one cell.
- Guessing is allowed, but a conflict highlight means you should back up.
