About Chess
Chess on GameZumoza is a standard eight-by-eight match with legal movement, checks, and checkmate. Play both sides on one device, or create an invite room and send the link so a friend takes Black. The host plays White. There are no fake ratings and no account wall.
How to Play Chess
- Press Play. White moves first.
- Select a piece, then select a legal square.
- Pawns that reach the last rank promote to a queen.
- To play a friend, choose Invite friend, create a room, and share the link.

Objective
Checkmate the opponent’s king. A stalemate or insufficient material is a draw.
Tips for Playing Chess
- Develop knights and bishops before launching the queen.
- Castle early so the king is off the open files.
- If you invited a friend, wait until the room shows that they joined.
- On a phone, tap carefully — highlighted squares are selected pieces.
